Limitless Wanderer Reiki

…belonging starts within

Reiki

Rei “spirit or soul”

Ki “energy or force”

Reiki is a light hands on holistic healing, energy based practice that focuses on promoting relaxation and balance through gentle, non-invasive techniques. Reiki as practice allows the flow of energy and is a highly individualized art form.

It’s a universal life force energy that brings your mental, emotional, spiritual and physical bodies into their highest and healthiest, vibration.

Disclaimers

Reiki practitioners do not diagnose or treat mental health disorders, but instead support overall wellness and stress reduction. While both can be valuable, clinical therapy is appropriate for addressing mental health concerns and achieving therapeutic goals, whereas Reiki may be used as a complementary practice for relaxation and general well-being.

Reiki uses light, gentle touch (or hands just above the body) to promote relaxation and balance. It does not involve pressure, muscle work, or any form of massage, and clients remain fully clothed during the session.

Beyond the Limits of Language

Healing is not just a mental process; it is an embodied one. We are all wanderers on a path toward wholeness, but often the noise of the world creates barriers that disconnect us from our true essence. Sometimes, the things we carry cannot be spoken—they can only be felt and released.

At Limitless Wanderer Reiki, my philosophy centers on the integration of the physical and the energetic. While traditional counseling addresses the mind, Reiki addresses the subtle energy that holds our stress and emotions. I believe that by honoring the body’s energetic needs, we unlock a deeper level of healing.

This is a space of non-judgment and profound rest, designed to help you shed what no longer serves you and reclaim your limitless potential. Ultimately, Reiki is the practice of returning home to yourself. I view each session as a collaborative journey to harmonize the mind, body, and spirit—removing the "limits" placed on your energy so you can wander through life with an open heart and a balanced soul.

From Taboo to Transformation

Feedback given to me after my first Reiki session

Hi there, I’m Kandie. I am a Reiki practitioner trained and attuned in the Usui Tibetan lineage—but my journey into this work didn’t begin the way you might expect.

Growing up in a religious environment, holistic practices like Reiki were often viewed as taboo. Because of that, I carried a fair amount of skepticism with me into adulthood. When I walked into my first session in the early 2010s, I intentionally kept my guard up. I shared no personal details, wanting to know if the experience was genuine or simply relied on subtle cues.

During that session, with my eyes closed and the practitioner’s hands hovering above me, I felt a sudden weight over my pelvic area and saw two distinct dots of red. When I called it out, the practitioner—who was not touching me—explained she was working on my Root Chakra, which is located in that exact region and associated with the color red.

In that moment, something shifted. Reiki was no longer something unfamiliar or questionable; it became real, grounded, and deeply supportive. That experience opened a door to a path I hadn’t expected, and today, I am honored to help others explore their own unique journey toward wholeness.

The Powerful Chakra System

Chakras are energy vortexes that exist within each of us. You can think of your chakra system as similar to a spiritual bloodstream. There are seven major chakras in the body, as well as several minor ones. Each one is associated with specific organs & glands, physical functions & dysfunctions, and emotional mental & spiritual issues.

"Balancing" chakras isn't about magic—it’s about self-awareness.

When they are "Open": You feel vibrant, decisive, and emotionally stable.

When they are "Blocked": You might feel stuck, anxious, or physically "off" in ways that correlate to that center (e.g., a tight throat when you're afraid to speak up).
